Welcome to the Columbus Experience, a corner of the blogosphere devoted to playing, dining and shopping in Ohio’s capital city.
I’m kicking things off, and think the best way to do that is to let you know what to expect. Here’s what you’ll see here:
- Experience Columbus staff describing our dining, shopping, and playing (read: stuff to do) experiences around Columbus. We’re out and about a lot. We have stuff to share.
- Guest bloggers and links to other blog posts that describe dining, shopping, and playing experiences around Columbus. Bloggers are also out and about a lot. And they have stuff to share.
- News and information relevant to experiencing Columbus. We tend to be up on that sort of thing around here.
We hope to see you around.

Kudos on the blog Experience Columbus team. A great look and easy to read. Plus, I love the Twitter integration.
Good luck and keeping blogging.

A line or two about my stay in Columbus. Stayed at the Days Inn Fairgrounds, we were going to the state soccer championship at the Crew Stadium. Electricity was off when we returned to the room 11-7-08 11;00 PM. Didn’t come back on till we hrs. of morn. We ate at Marcella’s and had our vehicle towed by the valets at Marcella’s because we parked the vehicle in the valet lot of Marcella’s unknowingly. Cost to get vehicle back, $130.00.Cost to stay with no electricity $80.00.Girls won state championship and that took some of the sting off but, I have a bad taste in my mouth about Columbus, Ohio

Can we send Douglas Barker a gift certificate or keychain or something? Sounds like he had a bad Columbus visit. “Not in Columbus” may be his attitude about his next vacation spot.
