Tune in to the Travel Channel at 10:30 EST tonight to see Man v. Food ’s Adam Richman visit Columbus restaurants.
The show called Experience Columbus a while back in search of "big food." And Adam’s definitely taking on some BIG Columbus favorites.
Included in tonight’s lineup : 1/2 pound cream puffs at Schmidt’s Restaurant und Sausage Haus , a massive burger at The Thurman Cafe and the 2 1/2 pound Dagwood sandwich from the Ohio Deli .

The travel channel comes to Columbus and picks Schmidts as a spots to showcase??? I know it is a questionable landmark, but it only emphasizes to me that we need a new identity for Columbus. There are many MANY other locations that Columbus regulars attend on a “mans” night out in the city. I do not know anyone but suburb guests that dine there.
