Celebrate 2010 Columbus festivals: It’s your last chance to WIN!

The members of the Greater Columbus Events Council are back with their third and final set of prizes – it’s giveaway time!
If you missed out on the first or second sets of giveaways, here’s your last chance. Four lucky readers will win.
This time, there will be…
THREE winners of the following:
- Greek Festival package, including admission and baklava for two
- Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival package, including two t-shirts, one parking pass and sunscreen
- Two Arnold Sports Festival keychains
ONE winner of the following:
- One fleece and two tickets to the New Albany Walking Classic
- Two tickets to the Columbus Jewish Film Festival
- Two Arnold Sports Festival keychains
How to win : Leave a comment below, and name at least one Columbus festival or special event you plan to attend in September, October, November or December . If you need a few ideas, visit this list of Greater Columbus Events Council members.
One entry per person, please. All entries must be posted by 2 p.m. on Friday, August 13 . After that, we’ll randomly select the winners.

The Greek Festival … gives me a chance to immerse myself in the culture for a couple of hours (I lived in Greece for 18yrs and this is the closest I can get to “home”)

I never miss the Greek Fest!
Still plan on attending the Italian Festival, maybe Festival Latino.
It’s a non-negotiable to attend Oktoberfest (LOVE the new digs!)
DID make it to the Arts Fest, ComFest, Creekside Jazz & Blues, North Market Food and Wine Fest, and the Dublin Irish Festival.
Also was a first timer at the Komen Race this year.
Even got a chance to check out Pride for the first time.
It’s our second “Year of the Festival” in lieu of a vacation…hurray for the Staycation (even if it’s only a Saturday and Sunday)

I am planning on going to the Greek Festival as I LOVE baklava and go to the Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival. A long weekend…why not. A lot of poeple go out of town but I stay in town! :-) The Art Festival is the day before my birthday and a day off from work. I love to see the creativity and talant that artists have.

The Greek Festival is a tradition for us on Labor Day weekend, but the Harvest Festival at North Market is a favorite, too!

I’ve enjoyed the Greek Fest since I was a kid attending with my parents and now have many memories of attending with my stepson and friends as an adult (no comment on how many years since I was a kid :-)
Last year I rediscovered the Italian Fest with some new friends and fell in love. I live fall in Columbus!

It is always about the FOOD. Jan and I will be going to The Greak Fest, The New Albany Classic, and try to go to Oktoberfest. Columbus has so many great oppertunities. So little time some many conflicts.

I definitely plan on going to the Greek festival. Always a great time and the people there are so nice and welcoming. Last year I was able to take my three year old niece on stage to sing Itsy bitsy spider. A classic moment.

We always attend the Columbus Marathon!
We volunteer at one of the water stations. We love cheering on everyone that runs by. It starts with the wheelchairs, which are simply amazing! Then There is the wave of runners that come. If the runner has a shirt on with their name, we always cheer them by name! It is a lot of fun! Even my kids have a good time filling cups!

I will be attending the Greek Festival, this festival has some of the best food you can find in Columbus.
The Dublin Irish Festival has the best music you can ask for in the city.

I haven’t been to the Italian or Greek festivals since I was a kid. It would be nice to attend with my husband and kids and enjoy the music and dancing. But I would really like to go to the Pumpkin festival in Circleville which is close to Columbus.

Can’t wait for October 17 to run in 1/2 Marathon at the Columbus Marathon. This will be my third time. It has become an annual event for me and my running peeps! Awesome course!

My daughter has her Greek dress from Tarpon Springs, Fl (The Greek Capital of the U.S.) We buy one every year in anticipation of the Columbus Greek Festival! Different color every year…..this year its salmon pink!
