Restaurant Review: Montgomery Inn Dublin

You don’t need to step outside in the overwhelming heat to realize that it’s summer. And to me, summer means pools and cookouts and BARBECUE. And I’m not talking about the kind of barbecue referenced in those annoying “Do you want to have a BBQ today?” Burger King commercials. I’m talking about slow-roasted, sweet and juicy fall of the bone baby-back ribs. So, if you’re having the same summer craving that I am and are currently suffering from post Jazz & Rib Festival withdrawal (it’s a real thing), gather your friends and family and go to Montgomery Inn.

Montgomery Inn - Dublin

Montgomery Inn is situated high on bluff in The Shoppes at River Ridge/Columbus complex at the corner of 161 and 33. The exterior was designed with colonial Williamsburg in mind and the interior reminds me of a comfortable lodge den. Worried about the large size of your family or group? Don’t be. They have private rooms that can accommodate parties as small as 12 and as large as 75.

Is your family or group stubborn and don’t want to leave the house? Not a problem. Montgomery Inn can bring the food right to you with their catering options. They can just drop the food off or provide server(s). That way you can enjoy this amazing barbeque in the comfort of the A/C or just a short distance from a pool.
Oh, and while you’re at it, feasting away on delicious barbecue, I highly recommend the Saratoga chips (extra thick potato chips with a side of barbecue – just in case your BBQ craving wasn’t satisfied yet.) And if your summer BBQ craving still isn’t fulfilled after Montgomery Inn, then you’re beyond help. You can find Montgomery Inn’s delicious Restaurant Week menu here.

Montgomery Inn is just one of many restaurants participating in Restaurant Week (July 23-28.) Prix fixe menus range from $15-$35 a person, and a portion of the proceeds from Restaurant Week Columbus benefits the MidOhio Foodbank.
