Thanksgiving Treats in Columbus
It’s the time of year when family starts to come into town. If you’re getting inundated with Thanksgiving visitors, it’s often nice to have a couple tricks up your sleeve to show off the city’s culinary scene while making them feel welcomed.
If I were hosting a dinner this year (and I am – hint – hint,) these are a few things I might have on hand:

A pound of freshly roasted coffee from one of Columbus’ new micro roasters. This one is from Mission Coffee Roasters in the Short North.

Baked goods are a safe bet. These marzipan peaches from Mozart’s Bakery and Piano Cafe are outstanding!

Some people say gin is a summer drink. But anyone who brings Watershed gin can stay at my house as long as they like.
But don’t spoil your guests. Give them a taste of Columbus that will make them want to get out of your house for a bit and pick up more goodies (and gosh, a small token of gratitude would never be declined!)
What Columbus treats do you stock up with?
