What's New
  • View The Word on Columbus video featuring impressions of Columbus by national media sources. This video debuted at the Experience Columbus Annual Meeting on Feb. 19.
  • Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman's 2012 Bicentennial celebration continues to build steam.
  • A group of Columbus artists and arts supporters are encouraging Columbus to promote itself as The Indie Art Capital of the World.

  • Columbus is heralded as the 10th "Top Arts Destination" among big cities in the United States in the June 2008 issue of AmericanStyle Magazine. The national publication geared to toward art enthusiasts and collectors ranks cities based upon their public art, gallery offerings and institutional arts according to readers polls.
  • Advocate Magazine, a national publication on the LGBT community, ranked Columbus among the most diverse and Top 10 Best Places for Gays and Lesbians to Live in America.
  • Golf.com ranked Columbus No. 2 on a list of the Top 50 Golf Cities in America.
