Original artwork by local artists are featured in the second and third floor galleries of this historic German Village boutique. Current exhibits: "Summer Gardens," oil paintings by impressionist Susan Astleford; David Phalen photography, "By Land and by Sea"; "Transitions in Glass," by glass artist Serge Lashutka; "Rising High," oil paintings by Lisa Hall. Downstairs find a wide array of authentic imported artisanal products for the home, including Italian hand-painted ceramics; French culinary porcelain; French, German and Italian kitchen and table linens; German and Polish pottery; glassware; jewelry; body care--if it's made in Europe by hand or according to time-tested tradition, Caterina probably stocks it or knows how to find it. The year-round European Christmas room features a choice selection of ornaments from all over Europe, as well as carved wooden German smokers, nutcrackers, pyramids and arches.
