"Step Back in Time" in this beautifully restored 1830's canal town. Experience a "Civil War: On the Home Front" tour with artisans complete in their 1830s costumes, including a blacksmith, weaver or broom-maker during a self-guided tour and costumed interpreters during a guided tour. Enjoy hands-on activities such as tin punching and candle dipping, and visit the charming shops housed in the restored historical buildings. Eat at one of our delightful dining facilities and snuggle in for a stay a one of our lodging establishments nearby. You won't want to miss our family-fun festivals or special events such as the Apple Butter Stirrin' or our beautiful Christmas Candlelighting. For all you museum lovers we have a gem for you - a nationally accredited, Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Enjoy the Vintage Toy Cellar where you are sure to step back in time with memories of when you were a kid. Open seven days a week, year-round. There's something special here!
