The AMA’s Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum tells the exciting stories and preserves the history of American motorcycling. Visitors to the Museum will find award-winning exhibits rotating through three major exhibition halls. Each exhibit immerses guests in the stories of American motorcycling by capturing the thrill of the open road, the excitement of racing or the inspiration of memorable personalities. The Museum is also home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, honoring the distinguished men and women who have played a vital role in shaping the sport and business of motorcycling, thanks to their competitive spirit, passion, vision and entrepreneurship. Located just east of Columbus, on the campus of the American Motorcyclist Association in Pickerington, Ohio, the non-profit Museum is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. MotoStars captures that fascination by displaying over 50 motorcycles from some of the world’s most famous stars. There’s something for everyone: vintage, customs, race bikes, movie bikes, and sportbikes.We also feature memorabilia from movies, music, entertainment, sports, business, and the arts. Hall of Fame You’re sure to find a few familiar faces in our Hall of Fame, which highlights more than 350 inductees. We have honored racers, tuners, builders, and advocates of motorcycling. Our list includes Malcolm Smith, Erik Buell, Peter Fonda, Dick Mann, Steve McQueen, Chris Carr, Willie G. Davidson, Bud Ekins, Jay Leno, and many, many more. Awesome-Ness Our hall of Legends exhibit, features 11 custom motorcycles built by the king of choppers, Arlen Ness, a 1992 hall of Fame inductee. This exhibit chronicles his life and highlights motorcycles from his career that will inspire you; lots of chrome, heavy metal, and wild paint schemes.
