The Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest is one of the most anticipated downtown events in Columbus and the Midwest. The tantalizing aroma of ribs on the grill mixed with cool jazz makes a combination that is undeniably delicious. As the entertainment destination in the city, The Arena District will provide a new exciting venue to showcase the event’s signature elements-hot ribs and cool jazz.

2009 Event Highlights:

•Two stages will host the best in local, national and international jazz artists. Past performances have included David Sanborn, Dianne Reeves, Sypro Gyra, Tito Puente, Ramsey Lewis and Diane Schuur.

•22 rib-burners representing 10 states and Canada will compete for “best ribs” bragging rights.

•New—North Bank Pavilion, a stunning glass structure that will host the hospitality suite and rib judging.         

•New—The Jazz Café, a water-side venue that will showcase intimate performances set against the picturesque city skyline.

•As always—Admission to the event is free!
