Glen Laurel a Scottish Inn with wooded Cottages and Crofts has been labeled the Premire Romantic getaway in the midwest.Located one hour southeast of Columbus Ohio in the Hocking Hills. The 140 acre estate offers unpretentious elegence in its lodging and fine dining. The setting is a heavily wooded series of walking trails, rock cliffs, waterfalls, and the enchanting Camusfearna Gorge. The Old World elegence of the Inn and the secluded peaceful atmoshere are ideal for Romantic nights for two. Anniversaries,Weddings, and Business Conferences. The Glen Laurel fine dining experience is legendary for its outstanding cuisine and Scottish flair. Celtic music sets the tone and consists of a 6 or 7 course candlelit dinner. The ambiance is created with bagpipe music,poetry,and a post dinner visit by our chef. Its is a gentle blend of dinner and theater that leaves room for intimate conversation. Breakfast is a full Gourmet Breakfast and may consist of belgian buttermilk waffles ,egg and chesse frittata with ham and asparagas.Fresh fruit, oven baked scones and muffins.
