Mozart's Bakery & Piano Cafe

We specialize in fine European tortes and pastries, as well as cakes, pies, petit fours, cookies, biscotti and other breakfast pastries. However, we also offer a diverse menu that covers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Options include omelets, quiche, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and wraps. An afternoon tea is alsoavailable daily from 2-4 p.m. with reservations. Other features include live classical music and a private room that can accomodate up to 30 people.

How Mozart's Bakery & Piano Cafe got it's start:

Anand and Doris Saha, the creators of Mozart’s, met in Switzerland in 1989. Anand studied Hotel Management while Doris completed her training as a professional pastry Chef. When the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio arose in 1995, the couple risked everything they had to open their own bakery and make Columbus their home. After struggling for the first few months, they soon found themselves the creators of perhaps the best pastry shop in the city. With the generous support of the Columbus community, Mozart’s has grown famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else.

Mozart’s, like the name suggests, focuses on the timeless music that continues to entertain millions worldwide. On any given evening, a guest may discover a live pianist playing some of history’s greatest works.

Mozart’s presents an annual gala celebration to honor the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the inspiration for the Saha’s creation. Each year, the event draws a crowd of over 2000 people. Past Guests of Honor include Mayor Greg Lashutka, Mayor Michael Coleman, and State Senator Jim Hughes, Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy and many more. The day-long celebration includes live classical music preformed by local artists, complimentary pastries and canapés, and finally, the cutting of Mozart’s birthday cake by the Guest of Honor.
