AIRPORTS
Port Columbus International Airport, located just 10 minutes east of downtown, is served by 9 airlines and their regional affiliates. Carriers include Air Canada Jazz, American, Continental, Delta, Midwest/Connect, Northwest, Southwest, United and US Airways. View map of Columbus' location and flying/driving times to major cities. Taxi service is provided by many vendors. The average fare from Port Columbus International Airport to downtown is $18-$20. Airport shuttles also are available.

Rickenbacker International Airport, located 20 miles southeast of downtown Columbus, is the site of an international multi-modal cargo complex, a high-speed logistics hub and a charter passenger terminal. Also serving general and corporate aviation needs are Bolton Field Airport (nine miles southwest of downtown) and The Ohio State University Airport at Don Scott Field (ten miles northwest of downtown).
TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
Columbus is easy to get around. The main east-west highway is I-70. There are two primary north-south freeways, I-71 and St. Rte. 315. The outerbelt, I-270, circles the city. I-670 connects the airport to downtown and continues to the west side. For information on construction, visit PavingtheWay.org.

Cars and vans can be rented from a variety of points in the city. Taxi service is provided by many vendors and airport shuttles are available, as well.

Public transportation is available from the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). Normal bus fare is $1.50, express fare $2; transfers are free. COTA offers special service for events such as Red, White and Boom! and Ohio State home football games.
