Egypt in Columbus collaboration recognized 

Egypt in Columbus was named Best Community Collaboration or Partnership of 2009 by the Ohio Museums Association. Held over eight months in Columbus in 2009, Egypt in Columbus was a partnership of the Columbus Museum of Art, COSI, Columbus Metropolitan Library and five additional public libraries.

Festivals and special events promoted

Experience Columbus is promoting festivals and special events through a marketing campaign that includes giveaways and a Web page designed by Fahlgren Digital. The events featured are members of the Greater Columbus Events Council, a
co-operative marketing group comprised of annual festivals and large-scale special events.

Play. Dine. Shop. airs on Time Warner

The second edition of Play. Dine. Shop. debuted in April on Time Warner Cable. Available on the Local On Demand channel 411, the Columbus-based show was themed Just the Guys. The hosts of the show were Rick Carfagna of Time Warner and Amy Weirick of Weirick Communications, which does tourism public relations for Experience Columbus.

Columbus hosts Ohio Tourism Day celebration 

The Ohio Tourism Division celebrated Ohio Tourism Day April 28 at Huntington Park. Following a press conference, several tourism partners, including Experience Columbus, distributed travel information to fans at the Columbus Clippers game. See photos.
