The Columbus community has been able to safely reopen amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by ensuring proper health and safety protocols are in place, including a citywide mask mandate. Currently, a statewide curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. indefinitely to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The Franklin County stay-at-home advisory, also in effect indefinitely, asks citizens not to leave their residences or travel outside of Ohio unless it is absolutely necessary. Downtown Banner Program

Columbus welcomes more than 41.3 million visitors on an annual basis. With over 350 banner poles located in the downtown area, street banners are a great way to promote your event or attraction.

Application Process 

  1. Fill out the Banner Application no less than four weeks and no more than one year in advance of your dates.
  2. Turn the application and banner artwork to Katie Suty at
  3. The applicant should not proceed with banner production until approval of artwork is received from Experience Columbus. Dimensions and specifications are below.
  4. Upon approval from Experience Columbus, a contract will be sent to the applicant. The contract must be signed and returned to Experience Columbus within five business days.
  5. You will receive an invoice in the mail after installation.
