This past year has been anything but normal, and while it has been incredibly difficult for many, there is still so much to be proud of in our community. As we get ready to say goodbye to 2020, we’ve rounded up our favorite moments of the year as a reminder of all we have to be grateful for despite the circumstances.
1. Crew are MLS Cup Champions
The championship is fitting after the community rallied to save the team less than two years ago and the team says goodbye to their home stadium on a high note before moving to a new downtown stadium in 2021.

While it’s still unclear exactly what 2021 will bring, there’s plenty of hope on the horizon.
A New Tower for the Hilton Columbus Downtown
The addition will expand the property to 1,000 rooms and make it the largest hotel in the state.
New Downtown Stadium for Columbus Crew SC
The 20,000-seat stadium sits side-by-side our other professional sporting facilities in the Arena District, increasing our already walkable entertainment district.
