Dining gluten-free can be a hassle, especially if the restaurant you’re at doesn’t have a gluten-free menu. Luckily, many Columbus restaurants have great options. My favorite restaurants have to have a gluten-free menu - here are my top six that do!

Cap City Fine Diner and Bar - Jake's famous Reuben and friesCap City Fine Diner and Bar is my favorite restaurant! They have a large gluten-free menu, gluten-free sandwich bread and delicious drinks and dessert. It’s a great pick when going out for a special occasion. I love everything I've ordered at Cap City, but my favorite is the Reuben. It's so nice to be able to order a sandwich, with bread, and eat like everybody else! I also recommend the French fries, strawberry basil lemonade and vanilla bean crème brûlée!

Starliner Diner is a hidden gem in Hilliard! The restaurant is tucked away on top of a hill along Cemetery Road. If you venture inside you'll find an eclectically decorated restaurant with a Latin American inspired menu. The menu indicates which dishes are gluten-free - there are so many options that it takes me forever to order! I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried here - especially the soft tacos and plantains!

Rusty Bucket - Double Stacked QuesadillaRusty Bucket is one of our 'go-to' restaurants. It has a great family friendly atmosphere and a fantastic gluten-free menu! I love everything I’ve tried here! I have a few favorites, but I usually order the double-stacked quesadilla. I have also enjoyed the tilapia, grilled BBQ chicken, and the pesto chicken pasta - all were delicious!

Aladdin's Eatery - Falafel SaladAladdin's Eatery is a casual Mediterranean themed restaurant chain that can easily accommodate vegans, gluten-free and nut-free diners. I always have a hard time deciding what to order at Aladdin's - there are so many options! The menu is well labeled with what is gluten-free, making it extremely easy to know what is ok for me to eat. I love the fruit smoothies and falafel salad!

Columbus Fish Market is my favorite seafood restaurant! There are a ton of choices on their gluten-free menu! I recommend the Shang Hai seafood sampler and the grilled shrimp and scallops. Be sure to save room for dessert! The Columbus Fish Market has a delicious crème brûlée with strawberries!

Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Palace - West Virginia Slaw DogDirty Frank's Hot Dog Palace is one of my favorite fast food joints! Gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian friendly options abound. You can order a beef or vegan dog on a gluten-free bun or in a Romaine lettuce wrap. Their signature dogs have unique toppings with clever names. The entire menu is reasonably priced, a dog and a side is less than $6! I love the West Virginia Slaw Dog and The Real Man. They also have gluten-free fries and brownies!
