Holidays at the Ohio Statehouse

Sure the holiday season brings cold weather, crowded shopping malls and endless errands, but it also brings exciting new activities to our favorite Columbus attractions. And a lot of the usual suspects get in the holiday spirit by turning their offerings up a notch. Whether they put up festive decorations, introduce a seasonal workshop or offer a special performance to their patrons, the mood is irresistibly merry. So take a break from your busy schedule and enjoy all the Columbus has to offer this December.

Carriage Rides at Easton Town Center Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride as you take in the sights and sounds of Easton, including the 50-ft. Christmas tree and breathtaking display of lights.

Holidays at the Conservatory Enjoy light displays, holiday trees, a gingerbread house display and 100+ varieties of poinsettias. Seasonal activities include Breakfast with Santa, Candlelight Nights and an annual poinsettia tree.

Holiday Lights Tour on a Segway Explore downtown Columbus by Segway this holiday season, complete with a 1.5-hour tour, holiday music and seasonal decorations. Each tour includes a training session prior to departure.

North Pole Express Come in your pajamas for a ride on the evening express. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, as well as a souvenir bell for each child. After the ride, follow the conductor across the street to North Pole Nelsonville for a visit with Santa and ice skating.
