Columbus is on the rise! Our new video series showcases some of the most impressive new attractions and amenities the city will roll out in the near future. SPARC (Sports Pavilion & Automotive Research Complex) is bringing racing, auto technology and gear-head fun to Columbus in 2014. Watch this video to find out more!
On the site of the former Cooper Stadium in up-and-coming Franklinton, SPARC, promises to be a mecca for motorsports fans. The stadium will be redeveloped by Arshot Investment Corp., in conjunction with Michael Waltrip Racing. Waltrip is a two-time Daytona 500 champion. A half-mile racetrack and grandstand seating will play host to auto racing, action sports and more, while a technology center will showcase Columbus' contributions to auto innovation.
SPARC will also be used for auto testing and design development. All in all, this addition will really rev up Columbus' motor!
