It's Wildflower Season in Columbus!

It's the right time of year to take a hike in the wild areas near Columbus and find an abundance of wildflowers!
Everything from triliums, to Dutchmen's breeches to Virginia bluebells and all sorts of lilies are in full bloom - but it won't last long. Some excellent places to see wildflowers in their full glory near Columbus include:
Battelle Darby Creek Metropark, Galloway Scioto Bike Trail, Columbus Griggs Reservoir Nature Preserve, Columbus Hoover Nature Preserve, Galena Wahkeena State Nature Preserve, Sugar Grove Hocking Hills State Park and Hocking State Forest, Logan
