There's been a complete explosion in the number and quality of microbreweries in Columbus! (Check out this post from Cheryl Harrison of DrinkUpColumbus for more details.) But unless you have an unlimited number of nights out on the town in Columbus, you'll never get the chance to taste them all on one visit (and remember it anyway...)
Fear not! Columbus' awesome North Market has solved this problem for you with the Columbus Microbrew Festival - happening this weekend (Friday and Saturday!) You can sample beers from 15 Ohio microbreweries all in one place. A tasting pass costs $20, and gets you 10 sampling tickets, a commemorative beer glass, and a $5 North Market gift certificate (pretzels go great with beer, so check out Brezel!)
Some of the Central Ohio newcomers represented at the festival are: Buckeye Lake Brewing Company, Four Strings Brewing Company, Hoof Hearted Brewing, Neil House Brewery and Zauber Brewing Company. You'll also find more established Columbus brewers like the Columbus Brewing Company , Elevator Brewing Company , Barley's Brew Pub and Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant.
All this, plus plenty of live music from Columbus bands! What could be better?
