If you're looking for a place to stay in Columbus that's a out of the ordinary, I've got a great idea for you. Victorian Village Guest House is a hidden gem in one of the city's most architectural stunning neighborhoods - and when you stay there, you really do feel like you've got your own pied à terre in the city.
The Victorian Village Guest House sits in a newly built but architecturally accurate carriage house behind the stately Victorian home of owner and proprietor Lisa Craig Morton. The lush grounds include beautifully manicured gardens and two peaceful sitting areas.
Inside, you'll find a bedroom that's literally among the treetops with a very comfy bed and what might be the largest closet in Victorian Village (historic homes tend to have tiny closets!)
There's a kitchen, equipped with everything you'll need and nothing you won't, a luxurious full bath and a sitting area complete with a sofa-bed for additional guests. The Guest House is bet suited for an independent traveler, a couple or a small family, as the bedroom doesn't completely close off from the living area, lending an airy feeling throughout.
The Guest House is just few blocks west of the Short North - so you can take in the lively pace of city life, enjoy the shops and restaurants and then retreat to your home away from home. Ohio State is just a few blocks north (many parents of OSU students will stay at the guesthouse during a campus visit) and Goodale Park, a perfect picnic venue, is a few blocks south.
The Victorian Village Guest House is a great place to stay for any occasion - and certainly one of the city's unique gems! Lisa, the owner has a great Pinterest account - follow her for inspiration on decor!
