For 2019, the Made in Cbus Trail welcomes back some of Columbus’ favorite locally-owned businesses, restaurants and attractions; each with a unique story and presence. From all corners of Columbus, you can find locations providing delighting experiences and memorable souvenirs. Some of these favorites include The Candle Lab, The Smithery, Brothers Drake Meadery and Igloo Letterpress. The Made in Cbus Trail also welcomes several new establishments for locals and visitors alike to discover!
Named after the proximity Columbus shares with the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers, High Bank Distillery Co. is comprised of four owners who decided Columbus had enough craft breweries, so they would follow their next favorite drink – bourbon! High Bank Distillery Co. has a spirit for everyone, including micro-distilled vodka, gin and whiskey. Not only can you find high quality cocktails at their location, but also a delicious full menu with a variety for every carnist and vegetarian out there.
Clothe Ohio features men’s, women’s and children’s apparel which includes tees, sweatshirts, tank tops and hoodies – all designed by local artists showcasing Ohio pride. In addition to its apparel line, Clothe Ohio has also introduced hats, woodcuts, coasters, throw pillows and ceramic mugs. This means you can find something for everyone at their store! Clothe Ohio stands out amongst the apparel crowd by making its mission to help the less fortunate by donating new clothes to an Ohioan in need with every purchase made. They partner with over 30 charities such as Firefighters 4 Kids, Huckleberry House and The Dragonfly Foundation.
Wild Cat Gift & Party (formerly Surprise Modern Party + Cocktail Goods)
Established in 2016, Surprise Modern Party eventually relocated to Clintonville, and later joined forces with sister company Wholly Craft to form Wild Cat Gift & Party. This shop supplies a curated collection of modern party décor that includes photobooth accessories, baby and bridal shower decorations and even custom confetti. Visiting their shop, you'll be inspired to host a one-of-a-kind party that will have your guests asking you “where did you find this?” over and over again.
Created by three real life “buds,” Kate, Megan and Katie, the Three Buds Flower Market shares its home with another Columbus favorite, Red Giraffe Designs in German Village. This flower market allows visitors to design and create their own unique bouquet, a perfect gift for any occasion! Shoppers can leave knowing the recipients of these bouquets will appreciate the thought put in to each flower, and maybe even treat themselves to a picture-perfect arrangement.
