In no particular order:
Feeding Romaine lettuce to an eager giraffe (and its 18-inch-long purple tongue) at the Columbus Zoo
Strolling up to the window at the tiny Jeni's Ice Creams shop in German Village, ordering extra sprinkles and holding a sticky hand while exploring Schiller Park
Floating in the lazy river at Zoombezi Bay, and knowing that the swim up bar is there if you need it
Lying out a quilt for a fun outdoor movie night outside the Wexner Center, with local pizza and popcorn
Perusing a farmers market and snacking on a fresh Ohio peach or pint of cherry tomatoes before you leave (the North Market, Clintonville and Worthington are standouts)
Shelling out a whole dollar during Dime a Dog Night at the Clippers game for a summer feast
Catching (and releasing) lightning bugs at Scioto Audubon Metropark with a sunset view of the downtown skyline ahead of you
Chasing each other through the fountains at the south end of the Scioto Mile, then grabbing a patio table at adjacent Milestone 229 for some delicious mac & cheese
