The Conservatory's spectacular new Children's Garden covers two acres with a huge variety of beautifully planted landscapes, play structures and learning stations. The indoor experience transports you to biomes from around the world and incorporates art in many forms.

Conservatory’s Indoor Experience
The Conservatory’s vast gardens pulse with life and bring the truly exotic wonders of nature to the forefront. Explore over 400 species of plants from around the world in the Conservatory’s biomes, take in the beauty of James Turrell’s Light Raiment II, or simply marvel at the intricate glasswork of Dale Chihuly.
The Children’s Garden features numerous unique, interactive experiences celebrating the Ohio landscape that introduce and connect children to the natural world.
The Hot Shop features daily Glassblowing demonstrations between 11 a.m.–2 p.m. by local, professional gaffers as they gather molten glass and transform it into a finished piece of blown-glass artwork. Every step of the process is described in informative, 25-minute sessions. The Hot Shop is open March–December.
Designed as a living classroom and idea center, the Scotts Miracle-Gro Community Garden Campus is a four-acre garden that provides creative resources for anyone interested in gardening and edible landscapes. Explore the culinary, herb and fragrance gardens, apiary, rose pavilion, berry house and 40 community garden plots. Take a cooking class in the demonstration kitchen or watch a chef demonstration at the Live Fire Cooking Theater. Open to the public until dusk.
