Infection Prevention 101 for Public Spaces – Free Online Course

The Ohio State University, supported by CloroxPro, is offering a free, online course providing foundational knowledge about infection prevention and practical tips to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Protocols businesses must follow to reopen:

  1. Require face coverings for employees and recommend them for clients/customers at all times

  2. Limit capacity to meet social distancing guidelines. New state mandates permit sports and entertainment venues to reopen with 25% of maximum indoor capacity and 30% maximum outdoor capacity

  3. Conduct daily health assessments by employers and employees (self-evaluation)

  4. Maintain good hygiene at all times – hand washing, sanitizing and social distancing

  5. Clean and sanitize workplaces throughout workday and at the close of business or between shift
