Resources for Community Businesses:
Please check back here frequently as we collect more information over time. View travel information regarding COVID-19 here.
Experience Columbus and Greater Columbus Sports Commission are committed to growing our travel economy, however, the health and well-being of our community, visitors and team are a priority. With the outbreak of coronavirus, or COVID-19, we are taking precautionary steps to flatten the COVID-19 curve by cancelling all travel and working from remote locations until further notice. This is being done as a preventative measure out of an abundance of caution, and the expectation is that daily operations, though altered, will not be interrupted.
Experience Columbus and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission are committed to doing everything we can to help our partners respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we may not physically be in our offices, know that we are still hard at work to secure and maintain business for our community and are here to support our partners in any way we can through these periods of uncertainty.
Please see below regarding the partner resources and COVID-19 toolkit we have compiled. Our team will continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with our state, city and county health officials as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and we will keep you informed of any additional changes as this rapidly changing public health situation continues. Know that we are still hard at work to secure and maintain business for our community and are here to support our partners in any way we can through these periods of uncertainty.
If you are looking for a job during this time, there are still some businesses that are still hiring and looking for reliable employees to help them get through the COVID-19 crisis. View them here.
We know this is a hard time, so we have paused all dues invoicing to our community partners effective April 1, 2020 and lasting through the end of the year. Any outstanding community partner invoices will also be paused during this time period. No business will be at risk of having its partnership suspended or dropped due to lack of payment. Partners can learn more about this change here.
Thank you for your support as we navigate this unprecedented public health crisis.
