Working with Voice in Essay Writing
Instructor: Scott Woods

What makes a great essay soar? This class will focus on developing and creatively utilizing a distinct voice in essay writing, including differences in writing for various audiences (the professional, personal, and experiential). We will look at examples that do this well and why they work. The workshop will fill your writer's skill set with a variety of ideas, tools, and techniques. Finally, you'll have opportunities to write and develop ideas during the session.

INSTRUCTOR:
Scott Woods is a writer and event organizer in Columbus, Ohio.
