The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center (NAAMCC) will open the fifth Annual Black Heritage Through Visual Rhythms Juried Art Show on October 13, 2018 at the Ohio History Center. This years show is being held in Columbus to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center, which is one of the 58 museum and historical sites of the Ohio History Connection. The show includes original art pieces and will run until January 21, 2019. This mixed media exhibit highlights the artistic interpretation of African and African American culture and history through the works of visual artists from across Ohio and the nation. NAAMCC is partnering with the Ohio History Connection (OHC), the King Arts Complex and the African American Visual Arts Guild of Dayton to present the show in Columbus for the first time.
