ATC's new project, The Shakespeare Underground, is an exuberant, fun, unpredictable take on classic plays from Shakespeare and a variety of authors. The concept of the project is a combination of guerrilla street theater and traditional Elizabethan staging methods. What’s more “underground” than that? Please join us to hear something that you’ve probably never heard before.

One of Eugene Ionesco’s first full-length plays, Rhinoceros demonstrates the playwright’s anxiety about the spread of inhuman totalitarian tendencies in society. Inspired by Ionesco’s personal experiences with fascism during World War II, this absurdist drama depicts the struggle of one man to maintain his identity and integrity alone in a world where all others have succumbed to the “beauty” of brute force and violence.

Admission is $15 in advance, or "Pay What You Will" at the door. Complimentary reserved seating is available for ATC members (members must RSVP for reserved seating).
