For eleven years the American Cancer Society's Columbus Cattle Baron's Ball has raised money to support cancer research and services for Central Ohio cancer patients. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, November 4th at Hollywood Casino Columbus located at 200 Georgesville Rd., Columbus, OH 43228.
Event sponsorships are still available. Individual tickets are $350 and a table of ten is $3,500. Sponsorship opportunities range from $5,500 to $50,000. If you are interested, please contact Wendy Young at 888-227-6446, ext. 3900 or via email at Wendy.email@example.com. To reserve tickets or find additional information about the event visit here. The event will feature a live performance from John Schwab Band, a Texas-sized meal provided by Hollywood Casino, games, live and silent auctions, as well as a tribute to cancer survivors and those that have left us too soon because of this terrible disease.
"We are excited to be a part of an event that hits home to many in this community," said Bill Hutter, CEO of Sequent and 2017 event co-chair. "This is also the time to remember the real reason why we are here, and that is to fight back against this disease until it is no more. We hope that you will come out to have a great time while supporting a worthwhile cause."
The Columbus Cattle Baron's Ball raised more than $230,000 in 2016 for a variety of American Cancer Society programs like Road to Recovery, which helps provide patients with transportation to and from their treatments. Donations are also directed to funding for ground breaking research. The 2017 Columbus Cattle Baron's Ball is currently sponsored by: Yeager Real Estate Group - David and Susan Yeager, Sequent, OhioHealth, The James, Quantum Health, Mt. Carmel Health Systems, Roetzel and Andress, Perez and Morris, IGS Energy, Huntington Bank, Hylant Insurance, White Castle, Motorists Insurance Group, Nationwide Children's and Robert Weiler Company.
