Multi-platinum, GRAMMY winners Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith co-headline their popular Christmas tour joined by Jordan Smith, Season 9 winner of NBC's "The Voice." Incorporating a full symphony orchestra under the direction of Musical Director and Conductor David Hamilton, this seasonal crowd-pleaser stops at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Friday, December 15, 2017. Combining for a vast collection of critically-acclaimed holiday albums between them, the tour will showcase selections spanning the artists' expansive Christmas repertoires.
"As we started to plan the show, it was our goal to enhance people's experience of the Christmas season by providing a night of exquisite music and message of hope," said Grant."We're especially thrilled to be partnering with Balsam Hill incorporating some of their beautiful pieces into our production."
In support of their longstanding relationship with Compassion International, Michael and Amy will meet with as many as 200 people in each city who sponsor a child prior to the concert through www.meetamyandmichael.com. The "Compassion Meet & Greet" is an opportunity to learn more about Compassion International's child sponsorship and includes a photo with the artists (concert tickets purchased separately).
"Amy and I have both sponsored children through Compassion International literally for decades, Amy has a song that says, 'It's going to be a Christmas to remember.' I hope we create a memory for everyone and impact the lives of some special children all over the world," reflects Michael.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. at the Box Office, ticketmaster.com, or 1-800-745-3000.
