Join The Ohio State University Libraries for an exploration of African American women’s activism and political involvement in Thompson Library, Room 165. Dr. Nadine George-Graves will recite and discuss Sojourner Truth’s famous speech, “Ain’t I a Woman?”, followed by a talk by Dr. Wendy Smooth on African American women in the political sphere, from voting to running for office.
