Ann Hamilton is an acclaimed visual artist known for her site-responsive, large-scale installations, public projects and performance collaborations. Her projects are based in her career-long interest in felt experience as the basis for recognition and knowledge and in the relationships between written language and tactile experience, both and body, motion and stillness. She's a recipient of the National Medal of Arts, MacArthur Fellowship and Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship. This free program, open to all, is sponsored by Conestoga, a volunteer fundraising support group for the Ohio History Connection.
