Columbus Landmarks Foundation and Friends of Green Lawn Cemetery are pleased to offer seasonal walking tours featuring the art, architecture, and botanical features of this very special park. Central Ohio's preeminent 19th century cemetery reflects the roots of the Cemetery Beautiful Movement in New England. Green Lawn encompasses more than 200 years of Columbus history, stories, and architectural preferences, and is home to champion trees, diverse old growth species, and wildlife.
The Autumn Walk will be held on Sunday, October 29 from 2-4 pm.and will be led by historian Doreen Uhas Sauer and naturalist Randy Rogers.
Tour begins at the Huntington Chapel, located past the office in the center of the cemetery. Tickets are $10 for Friends of Green Lawn and/or Columbus Landmarks Foundation members and $15 for non-members.
