The student will receive a low-power amp kit containing all electronic components, auxiliary cable, cigar box, and adapter. The student will have an introduction to soldering basics which will include learning about soldering equipment, proper use, and safety.
The student will practice soldering and tinning leads before tackling the amp kit.
The student will get a short introduction to the electronic components used in the kit and a rough idea of how they work in the circuit. Then they will solder their low power amp kit and test it out using the auxiliary cable and adapter with their phone. A guitar and input cable will be available if a student would like to test their kit as an amplifier.
Once all connections are considered good, the student can secure the built amp kit into the pre-cut cigar box enclosure.
