Breaststrokes Columbus 2019
Mission statement or primary goal: To use art to create awareness/financial aid for Breast Cancer patients/survivors/family members. Everyone welcome at this event, however the models are FEMALE ONLY. Models would be females willing to be painted by volunteer local female artists across their chest area for a donation of $10. This also gets the models a tank top to cover up afterwards if wanted. No names or faces would be used, only the chest area. All ages welcome. My hope is to increase female comradery, support, and empowerment.
PAINT DAY JUNE 22ND, 2019 located on the block of 400 West Rich Street, in the outdoor gated area and the Bridge Gallery.
The event, weather permitting, will be primarily outdoors with areas for women to be painted that are private. We will have food trucks, alcohol, music and miscellaneous things to do outside during the event. This is a project near and dear to my heart because I am a two-time Breast Cancer survivor myself! Ultimately, we want to raise as much money as possible throughout the year and on the paint day to disperse evenly to 5 local women who are battling Breast Cancer and really need it. Thank you in advance for any and all contributions to this event!
