Bruno Mangueira appears in concert with the Phil DeGreg Trio for a very special evening of music. Born in Vitoria, Brazil, he appears on the Brazilian and North American scenes as a guitarist, composer and arranger. Bruno has participated in concerts and recordings alongside Brazilian artists including Toninho Horta, Nelson Ayres, Gilson Peranzzetta, Paulo Jobim, Filó Machado, Sizão Machado and Helio Alves. His work with American artists has included Phil DeGreg, Rick DellaRatta, Mandy Gaines, Kim Pensyl and Paul Keller.
Phil DeGreg is an internationally known jazz pianist and educator. He toured with the Woody Herman Orchestra in the 1980s and has produced 12 CDs as a leader, including two recorded with Brazilian musicians, and projects featuring Tim Ries, Don Braden, Paul Keller, Dan Faenhle and other well known jazz musicians. In the spring of 2017, Phil was inducted into the Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Fame.
