June is National Pollinator Month, and we’re celebrating with cocktails made possible by some of our most important pollinators: bees! This adults-only, after-hours cocktail event will have free samples of mead (created with fermented honey) by Brothers Drake Meadery and samples of OYO Vanilla Bean Vodka (a flavoring derived from the Vanilla planifolia orchid, the native pollinator of which is the melipona bee) while supplies last. The cash bar will feature a local bee-collaboration combining OYO’s Vanilla Bean Vodka and Brother’s Drake Mead into a specialty cocktail. A full cash bar and the Conservatory Food Truck will be available.
Learn more about the fascinating lives of bees with the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association, which will be bringing their queen bee to the event. Live music by Honey and Blue duo, a self-described mix of pop, blues and soul. Guests will have access to the entire Conservatory experience, including the current exhibitions, during this event.
