CDT, in partnership with the Greater Columbus Arts Council, hosts an annual concert of dances chosen from the local dance community with funding provided by GCAC. Five fellowships of $2000 each are awarded to choreographers through an adjudication process each fall. The five dances chosen are then presented in an innovative and exciting concert free to the public at CDT's Fisher Theatre. We love this partnership with GCAC that enables us to support fresh new choreographic talent in our vibrant dance community, says Veach. That this concert is free to the public is a wonderful aspect of this event celebrating new dance.
