April 11th is National Cheese Fondue Day! Join us to celebrate with a springtime Date Night Fondue Dinner hosted by Fromagerie and 1400 Food Lab.
On the menu:
Gruyere Fondue--Classic fondue of the buttery, nutty alpine cheese, white wine, kirsch, garlic, and nutmeg
Goat Cheese Fondue--Goat cheese, heavy cream, white wine, fresh thyme, fresh chives, and a touch of honey
Raclette--Swiss raclette sliced from the wheel for your personal melting pleasure using tabletop raclette melters
Freshly-baked French baguettes and artisan breads
Selection of meat, vegetable and fruit accompaniments for dipping, including lamb kofta kebabs, beef tenderloin, cured meats, sautéed mushrooms, steamed petite potatoes, cornichons, crudités, apples, pears, and strawberries.
Belgian Chocolate Fondue -- End the evening sweetly and decadently with a silky fondue made from fine Belgian chocolate, heavy cream, and brandy.
Choice of specially-paired red, white or sparkling wine or premium imported beer (2 glasses per person)
