The Denison Fringe Festival presents "Fake News: A Theatrical Investigation of a Performers Place in American Politics," an original work by Denison junior Kara Jackson, is a summer research project turned political satire that explores the interconnection between the news media and political worlds. These series of sketches hold particular reference to our current presidential administration and beg the questions: "How much has my obsession with pop culture been working to both inform and misinform me, and what is the cost of letting it continue to do so?"

Denison Universitys Fringe Festival, modeled after Edinburghs legendary festival, takes place from April 18 to May 3, with a series of diverse original performances by students and faculty, guests, and student organizations in locations across the campus.
