About the Book and Author
Becket, the long-time personal assistant to Anne Rice, and Anne Rice reader and scholar, has compiled the ultimate annotated cosmology of Rice’s Vampiredom – "The Vampire Chronicles of Anne Rice: An Alphabettery." From A(kasha) to Z(enobia), "An Alphabettery" covers all 15 books in the series, detailing the the facts, details, story lines, genealogies of her characters, vampiric subjects, geographical influences, and cultural and individual histories. The books offers concise, detailed biographies of every character, no matter how central or minor to the cosmology.
Becket is a fascinating character to say the least. He is a former Benedictine monk with master’s degrees in theology and industrial/organizational psychology, and is an author in his own right. His latest novel, "The Blood Vivicanti," features characters and concepts by both Becket and Rice, and is slated to be released as a six-part series.
" An Alphabettery" is illustrated by Mark Edward Geyer.
