Learn how to frame your own art and photography with a hardwood splined frame!
Students will choose between two finished sizes when making their custom splined hardwood frame. Create the framing profile using table saw and router and then cut and join mitered corners. Reinforce and detail corner joints with hardwood splines. The medium sized frame is 12" x 12" and the large is up to 24" x 24".
Tools used include router, table saw, miter saw, spline jig and orbital sander. Some recent experience with woodworking projects is beneficial.
