Exhibit of kadads woven and dyed completely by hand by Somali women. A kabad is a weaving that serves as a decoration or insulation in the aqal (home) and are woven from burlap rice sacks that have been separated strand by strand and dyed. 


Join us on Friday, November 3 from 6:30-8 p.m. for traditional Somali drinks and treats at the opening reception or stop by to view this "mini" exhibit through December 10.
