After receiving his Ph.D. at Northwestern University, Dr. Roger Blackwell taught over 65,000 students and won 27 teaching awards as Professor of Marketing at The Ohio State University. He also taught over 3,000 corporate seminars on six continents, and was Visiting Professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business, The University of Washington and universities in Canada and Africa. After publishing 100 scholarly articles and 39 books including the million-seller textbook Consumer Behavior, he recently wrote Saving America: How Garage Entrepreneurs Grow Small Firms into Large Fortunes, describing growth principles for small and medium-sized firms. He served on boards of Max & Erma's, Symix, CompuServe, Victoria's Secret, CheckFree, Abercrombie and Fitch and other public corporations. One of these, Worthington Foods, resulted in a profound learning experience, resulting in insider trading convictions of Dr. Blackwell. Today, Roger Blackwell serves on private boards and consults for firms as Principal of Blackwell Business Advisors.
