The  Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery presents OHIO:  The Start of it All, July 27- October 14, 2017. Curated by Dan Chudzinski  of the University of Findlay's Mazza Museum, the exhibition features 60  original children's book illustrations from the museum. The  University of Findlay's Mazza Museum is the most diverse collection of original  artwork by children's book illustrators in the world. The museum's goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of picture  books.

Media support is  provided by CD102.5, CityScene, Ohio  Channel, WOSU, Ohio Magazine, and  WCBE 90.5 FM. The Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery showcases the work of Ohio's artists and the collections of  the state's museums and galleries. The OAC Riffe Gallery is located in the Vern  Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43215. Hours  are Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., Thur 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sat 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
