About the Workshop:
Michael will share his innovative painting process which details the use of unconventional tools and the building up of many layers of transparent and translucent acrylic paint. There will be demonstrations and explanations of the layering sequence. Students will personally explore these hands-on techniques and methods and also be encouraged to discover some of their own. Paint viscosity and resist technologies will also be carefully explored in a laboratory type atmosphere. Additionally there will be critiques where the class will discuss their discoveries. Each student will produce 3-6 finished paintings. Cost of Workshop: $365 per person (Includes continental breakfast, snacks, drinks and parking daily!)
