Remembrance: Artistic Legacy of Kojo, curated by Bettye J. Stull, is a celebration of the vision and influence of the late photographer Kojo Kamau. We are thankful to the many artist friends and colleagues of Kojo who submitted a broad range of images that reflect differences in diversity. It is our purpose to increase awareness and appreciation and to continue Kojo's legacy. Kojo often said, "What yo do today is tomorrow's history." Show hours in Palmer Hall, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when events are not in session, and on Sundays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., when events are not in session. On weekdays, please check in with the church receptionist to get directions and to confirm Palmer Hall is available for viewing.
Exhibit runs through Dec 7, 2017.
The Opening Reception is Wednesday, October 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m. A tribute performance for Kojo will be presented by poet Barbara Fant at 6:15 p.m.
