Songwriter Showcase at Natalie’s presents JD Eicher, Barefoot McCoy, and Steve Everett in concert. Hosted by Eric Gnezda, this series features the finest regional and national singer-songwriters, from Grammy and Kerrville winners to the best emerging artists. They perform “in-the-round,” representing a wide range of styles.
JD EICHER is a native of Youngstown, OH. In 2016, he teamed with best-selling author Nicholas Sparks in a unique collaboration to produce an original song and musical companion for Sparks' novel, Two By Two, published in October, 2016. The soundtrack included four songs by JD, one of which, "Two by Two," was inspired by the book. JD has opened for Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Bryan Adams, and Kelly Clarkson. BAREFOOT McCOY is based in Ohio. He blends folk-rock and alternative-country to evoke memories of yesterday and spark hope for tomorrow. His writing often includes traces of his love of nature and his values in peace, truth and life. Jake was given the name "Barefoot" as an Indian name by his Kentucky friends, Rainwater (Cherokee) and Gail Roe. Since 2015, he has performed over 700 shows in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana, New Mexico and California. STEVE EVERETT was raised in Greensboro, NC. Blending positive vibes with melodic hooks and clever lyrics, he has toured with Hunter Hayes, and Cassadee Pope. He plays stages ranging from The House of Blues, to the Rock Boat Music Festival, to house concerts.
